A territorial nurse is kidnapped before she can reach Doctor Baxter's offices, by a woman and her two sons. The woman assumes the nurse's identity and starts to work with Baxter, getting familiar with one patient in particular, a rich old lady hypochondriac who possesses a valuable collection of diamond jewelry.
